Q- How do I book a reservation?

A- If you need transportation NOW, call 843-338-2570. For reservations for 4 hours or later, please fill out the reservation form here


Q- What information will I need to make my reservation?

A- Don't worry!  Our online reservations form will guide you! We will need to know your last name, number in your party, and the name and time of the ferry service you are using, as well as your vacation address.


Q- When do I pay? Is payment due at time of reservation?


A- No. Payment is collected at time of service.   Cash and Credit Cards accepted.



Q - What should I bring?


A- Daufuskie Island does not have any large grocery stores so we encourage our visitors to bring whatever necessary. Our trailers and vans are capable of transporting large amounts of cargo.



Q - Can our dog ride in the van?


A- Yes! Of course! Daufuskie Transit is pet friendly and dogs ride FREE. We encourage our guests to bring whatever they need to make their vacation complete but just remember to leave a comment in the NOTES section of your reservation form. 



Q - Can 1 person of our group ride in the van with everyone's luggage while the rest of the group rides in the golf cart?


A- Yes absolutely, but please note that we will charge for the individual riding in the van as well as the luggage delivery fee which is based on the volume of cargo in the trailer and adds a 20% gratuity for the driver. This will also apply on the return trip if purchasing round trip transport, since this method does not secure seats in the van for the whole group but only for the luggage and one individual that had originally been been paid for. 


This is not recommended on days with inclement weather. Daufuskie Transit recommends the $25 per person round trip which includes all your luggage as long as we transport the entire group which ideally provides insurance for your group in bad weather.
